If you are not comfortable with openly discussing the topic of sex this is not the right industry for you. You also have to be prepared to put in a little effort when getting started to learn products and general sex education in order to guide your customers to a WISE buying decision. As long as you are prepared and are starting this business with a positive attitude you will not fail, in fact it’s almost fail proof.
How do you feel about the stigmas that society has labeled on the sex toy industry?
I don’t think the societal stigmas are as strong as they once were for people working in the sex toy industry. Years ago if a person said they were in the field of selling sex toys they may have got a dirty look or a nasty response, but now sex has become such a main stream topic that I usually get…”Oh wow, that’s really cool!” For anyone to think it’s a negative thing , in my opinion, is just not educated enough on the topic or the business aspect of it. It’s healthy for us to explore our sexuality. There are a ton of health benefits that are associated with sex; physical and mental and I am happy to say that I am here to help woman with the things they have always wondered about but have not been able to vocalize to others or get the proper education about. Sure, some people do stigmatize this industry still and unfortunately may never change. However, for every 1 person that dislikes this industry there’s 10 that support it because those 10 to that 1 know how important it is for us to understand and explore our sexuality. Therefore, I can handle the negative stigmas that still exist and try to de-stigmatize through education, because the majority of the people in society that have something bad to say about this field just don’t know.

I spend about 10 hours a week on my business. This includes reaching out to customers, advertising, and consulting parties. It’s not time consuming at all, which is another reason why I love this business. It’s fun, easy and rewarding!
